Grantmaking Policy Overview

Bridgewell 360’s grantmaking policy ensures that assistance is distributed fairly to those in need, prioritizing urgent cases.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Live within the service area
  • Have household income ≤ 60% AMI
  • Demonstrate an emergency financial need
  • Accept short-term case management
  • Provide required documentation
  • Demonstrate the ability to remain financially stable following Bridgewell 360 assistance

5. Allowable Assistance

  • Rent
  • Utilities
  • Transportation emergencies
  • Essential household needs
  • Other Board‑approved emergency expenses

Maximum award: $1,000 per household per year (modifiable by Board resolution).

Application & Review Process

Applicants must complete a straightforward application to receive support within 48 hours of application approval.

  1. Intake completed
  2. Documentation collected
  3. Case manager verifies eligibility
  4. Application packet prepared
  5. Committee reviews and scores
  6. Decision recorded
  7. Applicant notified

7. Payment Procedures

  • Payments made directly to vendors unless otherwise approved by the Grant Review Committee
  • Two authorized signers required
  • Treasurer oversees disbursement
  • Finance logs updated immediately
  • Payment confirmation stored in case file
